Yesterday was my 57th birthday š and apparently, my idea of celebrating is hopping on a bike for a ālightā 25.34-mile ride. (Nothing says āpartyā like quads on fire, right?) š“āāļø
Iāve hit my mileage goal, but since the donation deadline is extended through Oct 31, Iām still riding for the kids. š Please donate if you can. Thank you!
š“āāļø Update time! (Yes, Iām behind, so youāre getting a 2-for-1 special today. No refunds. š)
Between Sundayās ride and todayās spin, Iāve pedaled my way up to 342.07 total miles in the Great Cycle Challenge! Thatās a lot of saddle time, a lot of snacks, and way too much wind in my face on the ride back home. š¬ļø
Even though the official cycling portion wrapped up September 30th, Iāll keep riding through October (as long as Mother Nature doesnāt throw me into a headwind tornado). The best part? The donation deadline has been extended to October 31st! š So thereās still time to support the Childrenās Cancer Research Fund and help kids fight cancer. š

Behind on my updates but not on the miles ā 269.29 so far, and Iāll break 300 today! š“āāļøšŖ
The official cycling portion ends Sept 30th, but Iām stubborn, so Iāll keep pedaling through Oct 31st while the donation deadline is still open. š
Iām behind on my fundraising though, and thatās where YOU come in. Any size one-time donation helps kids, families, and cancer research. Even $5 makes a difference (and keeps me pedaling with purpose).
š Please consider helping by clicking the Donate Now button and THANK YOU for helping children and their families.
Ride #7 is in the books! š“āāļø Added 30.38 miles on Monday, which brings me to 245.83 total. My ā200-mile goalā is now somewhere in the rearview mirror, but Iām still pedaling for the Childrenās Cancer Research Fund. š
Good news: the donation deadline got extended to Oct 31stāso you still have time to chip in! This isnāt a per-mile deal, just a one-time donation (so no excuses š).
šPlease click the Donate Now button and letās crush cancer together! š
I DID IT! Saturdayās local ride was a little closer to home (and a bit more risky as I was rode where I got hit 2 years ago), but those 24.01 miles pushed me past my 200-mile goalānow at 215.45 miles!
But the ride doesnāt stop here. Iām still pedaling for the Childrenās Cancer Research Fund, because no child should have to fight cancer alone. š
This is a one-time donation event (not per mile), and every dollar makes a differenceāwhether itās $1, $100, or anything in between. Every gift matters, and I'm so grateful for the support.
The deadline has been extended to October 31st, so thereās still time to stand with me and say it loud: Cancer Sucks!

š“āāļø Yesterday was one of those rare, perfect daysāblue skies, quiet paths, and (believe it or not) no malfunctions! I soaked it in because I know those gloomier fall days are creeping up.
So far, Iāve logged 191.44 miles in the Great Cycle Challenge for the Childrenās Cancer Research Fundāriding to help kids fight cancer, support families, and fuel research for better treatments.
Hereās the deal: This isnāt a āper-mileā thingāitās a one-time donation event. Iām closing in on my 200-mile riding goal, but my donation goal is still⦠well, letās just say itās miles behind. Every mile I ride over 200 is my way of giving extra sweat equity, but I need your help to push the fundraising side across the finish line. Can we do it together? Even $1 makes a difference. ā¤ļø
Please tap the Donate Now button. THANK YOU!
Yesterday, Helga and I rolled a lot smoother thanks to some tire TLC (turns out hub ribbons are a real thing⦠who knew? š ). We knocked out 51.25 more miles, bringing me to 156.96 totalāonly 43 miles left to hit my 200-mile goal!
Now hereās where you come in: while I pedal toward the finish, Iād love to see our fundraising goal catch up too. Every donationāwhether itās $1, $10, or $100āhelps kids fight cancer through the Childrenās Cancer Research Fund. Itās not āper mile,ā just a one-time gift that makes a huge impact.
Letās crush cancer togetherāone mile, one dollar, one childās future at a time. šŖ

š“āāļø Helgaās back on the road! After a week in my shop, sheās patched, tuned, and āstrong like bear.ā š»
We knocked out 36.61 miles today, but Iāve got more miles (and dollars) to make up. Weāre stuck at $129āstill $371 shy of the $500 goal. Every bit helps kids fighting cancer. Letās push this number higher! ššŖ

šØ TODAY is the day! šØ
Itās KICK CANCERāS BUTT DAY š„ ā and that means every single donation made today will be MATCHED dollar for dollarāup to $1.5 million! š
Iām riding in the Great Cycle Challenge to support the Childrenās Cancer Research Fund because kids should be living life, not fighting for it. š
Your support today has double the impactātogether we can fund lifesaving research, bring hope to families, and push closer to ending childhood cancer.
Letās make today HUGE. Letās kick cancerās butt! ā
š PLEASE click the "DONATE NOW" button.
Thursdayās ride went MUCH betterāI nearly doubled Tuesdayās mileage with 46.5 miles! Felt strong, spirits high⦠and then my back tire decided to remind me whoās boss. Yep, ANOTHER flat.
This time, no long walk of shame homeāI came prepared. But still, āHelgaā (thatās my bike) is getting a short break while I order fresh tubes, new tires, and a few other goodies to keep us rolling.
Hereās the deal: I may be battling flats, but kids with cancer are fighting something much tougher. Will you join me in this fight? Every donation, big or small, helps fund research and gives kids a chance at hope. Just tap the "Donate Now" button.
Together, we can kick cancerās butt!
