Longest bike ride Niko has done solo. A whopping 3 miles on his big boy bike. Learning to glide and ride. I can’t tell you how many times he’s been eager to ride for kids cancer this month; asking if we have the time to do more miles. Even when he fell face forward; he just got back up and wanted to keep pedaling.
Thank you all for supporting him be the best he can be.
No school Friday means boy time. :)
Neeks and I went down to the OC Railroad Park area where we got to ride a hayride, pick out pumpkins, and rented a bike to get some miles in.
It was a beautiful day and an absolute blast.
Neeks at it again, but this time he has a purpose. It’s really cool seeing him ride for a reason. He’s now coming to me asking if he can go ride so he can add miles to the challenge. And he literally just got this bike and skipped the training wheels part. Gotta love him. :]
I started my challenge 6 years ago with my bro bro, Mark. He’s the whole reason I got into this.
Now my son has been riding with me for the last two years. But this year he is on a bike (no training wheels, just turned 4) and started off our first ride to his uncle’s house (Uncle Scooter - Mark). Where it all began. ;)
We plan to ride strong this year as we learn what real strength is from our Uncle Tung. And we hope we can get all your support to help push us to our goal.
We send our love to all! May your days be full of bright smiles. :)
