Well, it took two extra days due to work, and other stress related obstacles that tried to put me down, but we did it!! 151 miles! Malix finished out the last ten with me.. Good news is that the platform will actually keep running throughout the month of October and I’m going to be riding even more miles for the Big Bam on the Katy trail as I move on to accomplish my next goal to ride across the state of Missouri. This was a goal I made as a New Year’s resolution back in January and I intend to keep the goals and promises I make to myself as I continue to take on these challenges, I will keep the page open, pledge more miles, and continue to try to raise funds for this great cause… I will also be documenting the entirety of the ride on Tik Toc and facebook for the fun of it.. I want to thank everyone of you that have been here to support me, helped raise money, or even took time just to familiarize yourself with the cause but couldn’t donate yet.. Knowledge is power friends and if you do scrape up a few dollars and just don’t like me, you can donate straight to the page or another rider.. 🤓😉
Much love,
Tribbs, 🤙🚴♂️💪🏽
Well, I had a couple down days this past week.. Felt sick and was dealing with some stress and anxiety. Took me a second to snap out of it. I carved of 12 more miles tonight and still have 19 left to go.. I’m pretty sure they extended the ride throughout the month of October but it was my intention to be finishing my miles today.. I’m still happy with the progress I made and plan to finish these last 19 miles by Thursday… And if the ride does continue through October as I expect it will, I’ll be adding more miles to the goal and continue to raise money as I bike along the Katie Trail across the state of Missouri.. 🤙🚴♂️
Carved away 10 more miles this morning! Getting closer to successfully completing my pledge on time, without rushing around to try to catch up from a deficit.. Legs are feeling good still.. 🤙🚴♂️
I’m a little late updating the blog but I did put in 11 miles yesterday! It was a good day to ride..
Carved off another 10 miles yesterday! A little late logging it but I got busy.. It was a short ride around the park several times because I couldn’t go too far out on an adventure as I had dinner plans and needed to get on the road.. It was a good workout though.. 💪🏽🤙🚴♂️
The weather is quite perfect today, and the clouds are just giant pieces of shapely cotton.. I finished my Freida McFadden book while out riding.. Carved off another 13 miles from the 150 that I’ve pledged to ride this month for the GCC challenge.. Keep on strengthening my legs to prepare for the Big BAM on the Katy trail coming up October 5th… Not gonna lie, that ride has had me kind of spooked but it’s a challenge, an adventure, and also my New Year’s resolution I made back on New Year’s Day.. So I’m all in! It will be a time of hard work, reflection, some Bible study, and even some writing.. One day and one mile at a time! 🤙🚴♂️
I’m feeling confident about the ride and keeping good pace.. Not much money raised yet but we got a little change in the bucket so definitely contributing something.. 🤙🚴♂️
Got up and at it a little early today.. Wanted to catch Malix’s soccer game and the spin off a few more miles.. Carved out 12 more from the 150 and now we got a little under 100 to go.. Feels good staying on task and disciplining myself to stay the course.. I did drop the goal down from a $1000 to $500 not too many people supporting me or the cause this year but I haven’t done the best at advertising it so I better step my game up there to.. It’s still worth it though.. Every dollar counts.. 🤙💪🏽🚲
Buzzed around town and carved a few more miles out of this 150..
Then we went out to celebrate by daughters birthday!! 🥳🥳
Put in another 20 miles today.. I’m trying to stay a head of the game and not get behind like I have the past couple years.. Pacing myself.. 36 miles in so far, so I’m happy with the start..
