I want to thank each and every one of you who has supported my Great Cycle Challenge journey this year. Whether you donated, shared my page, sent encouraging messages, or cheered me on, thank you for making this year's challenge such a success!

Together, we made a real difference. We raised $1,304. Every mile and every dollar make a difference!

Every dollar you've donated goes directly to the Children's Cancer Research Fund to develop better treatments and ultimately find a cure. You were not just helping me reach my goal - you're giving hope to kids and families facing the toughest fight of their lives.

This is my 7th year riding for cancer research, and every year I'm reminded why this fight matters so much. We've all been touched by cancer in some way. We lost people we love, watched friends and family battle this terrible disease.

Thank you for believing in this cause and for supporting me in the fight against cancer.

I made it!

On the last day of the challenge I got the missing 17 miles in to wrap up this year’s GCC! 🤩

I even got an extra 9 miles.

It was a perfect fall day for a ride 🚴‍♀️

I am excited to have completed my 7th year of the GCC. I was close to not signing up this year, but instead I set a lower goal.

Considering I couldn’t even walk for over three months this summer, 109 miles deserve a huge celebration! 🎉

I walked a mile….

I‘ve been wiped out by a head cold and couldn’t get any bike ride in this weekend.

So, today‘s progress report is a walk to the library 📚

Hopefully, I can wrap up the remaining miles tomorrow.

Where did you go?

I couldn’t decide how far I want to go so that’s how this happened 🤓

It went well and I got 17 miles in! ✨

I looked (and feel) like I biked 50 miles, but that’s just 5 miles back home from a doctor’s appointment. 🥵

That was not on the road bike 😄

Kicked off the challenge today!

The surgeon and the PT agreed that I am ready go get on the bike!

Pumped up my flat tires.

Dusted off the bike, shoes and helmet.

Charged all the devices.

And then I went on a sunset trial ride.

No major pain, just weak legs and no endurance. So, off to a good start.
