Such a pretty shady, hiking trail!
Enjoying riding through the shade of the trees! In spite of the hot Texas in the month of September, I kept on till I made my goal!
Amelia and Kenzie found a big Momma spider with hundreds of babies riding on her back! We were riding at night. I did several rides at night, but this is one at Josh’s house when I was spending the night with them to help night watch over Kenzie who has type one diabetes.
Yep, it’s a Momma spider that matches the concrete! with a whole bunch of babies riding on her back!! She is completely covered with baby spiders! Josh took the picture for me and the grandchildren found the eyes staring out in the dark with their head lamps while we all were riding on the bikes.
It sure is great biking the Riverwalk here in Waco!
It sure was fun bike riding through Cameron Park! A little bumpy here and there but nice and shady!
We all enjoyed a 7 1/2 mile bike ride all around in the beautiful country neighborhood. We only had two dogs chase us but they quickly left when I pressed the foghorn button. They all quickly turned around and went the other direction lol. I went over the hundred mile mark on this trip. Yay! I am almost there! It is sure fun riding with family. We are looking forward to seeing Ms. Bethy return from her big sister birthday treat vacation. Here we are just loading up on Water. But it was a lot prettier other places but we were busy enjoying the beautiful scenery. It was a very pleasant day out today.
Enjoyed a ride in Bruceville today. The road is covered with an archway of trees.
Finally, the day cooled down enough to be able to bike ride. I bike road this afternoon at four when it was nearly 100°. And I was just pretty hot but it was at 4 o’clock or so and so it was better than at 2 o’clock. That’s how it is in Texas but I was able to get some miles in. I just want to share with you the beautiful sunset tonight!
This is a beautiful park with a little lake to bicycle ride around or walk around. There’s a wonderful ballpark and lots of trails that go different directions. I really enjoyed this park after driving for four hours. It’s a great halfway point or so to stretch the legs.
