I'm Riding For
Family and Friends Who’ve Fought Cancer
I was inspired to ride by the memory of many I’ve loved who’ve had cancer. Each person has exemplified so much bravery. THEY are the ones who deserve to be on pedestals for facing their challenges every day. I’ve watched family and friends battle this disease. It’s so wrong and unfair, and when it hits children, it’s unthinkable what they have to deal with. It’s for these people I ride...to help their journey. My efforts are so small compared to their challenges. Praying for these brave people and their families every day.🙏
My Story
This September 2025, I am again taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year. I am inspired by their bravery and tenacity as they fight this disease. I have witnessed the strength of families who go through this when their only path is to continue moving forward. I cannot think of another way to support these warriors more than trying to raise funds to beat this disease that steals their joy.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help youth of all ages and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
