I'm Riding For
Kids with Cancer
My Story
This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
Your support will change little lives.
Thank you.

My 2025 rides
3 Sep 2025My goal is to ride at least 💯 miles on MN single track trails. Minnesota weather being unpredictable and rain is closing most trials after just an inch or so, I’ll need to pivot from single track trails to my green machine for tar paths.
Prior to September I haven’t ridden 💯 miles on single tracks in any given month yet this year, not even close. The previous 8 months of this year I’d guess that the total distance is about 250 miles. That’s a little over 31 miles per month on average however, triple down for little kiddos fighting cancer, I’m motivated!
The third ride in September 2025 is the best one yet, perfect weather however, not too perfect trail conditions. It was a little slippery in spots where the trail dips down and usually in or out of a berm/ corner. I tried going slow and still managed to fall. The front tire slipped over the top of one berm about 10 miles into my ride. Thankfully I didn’t get injured, funny how my smart watch was prompting me to call EMS afterwards.
I broke my collarbone on my first ride of 2022 September ride; at the same single track, about 1 mile from the current fall this year. It was brutal finishing the challenge then but now I’ve been able to learn and grow to be a better MTB rider…marginally 😂
